Parents homeschool their children for many reasons, but the one thing we all want for our boys is to give them the skills and the character to grow into good, Godly men.
Scouting is a powerful tool that allows the boys to be themselves, learn real-life skills, and to develop and practice character traits all while they are having amazing fun!
If you are new to scouting, boys as young as first graders can join as Tigers and attend meetings with their parents present to ensure each boy gets the attention and time he needs to learn and thrive.
As the boys become older and earn their achievements, they move up through the ranks of Wolves, Bears, Webelos, and finally Boy Scouts.
Throughout their scouting journey the boys learn self-sufficiency by paying for all of their own scouting expenses including dues, camping expenses, and summer camp fees. Scouts earn this money by selling popcorn and camp cards door to door in their neighborhoods, or though Pack-organized store front tables.
Most importantly, moms and dads are welcome in Cub Scout leaderships positions, meetings, and camp outs. This makes our pack stronger because our community of homeschooling parents come together to support each other in homeschooling and our boys in scouting.
If you are looking for an amazing opportunity to teach your son responsibility, respect, and real-world life skills, Pack 26 is here to help guide our boys on their journey to manhood.
